PayDown is meant to work for everyone, including people who use screen
readers, larger text, or keyboard-only navigation. We target
WCAG 2.1 Level AA across this website and the iOS app.
Supported in the iOS app
- VoiceOver — every control, list row, and form field is labeled with roles and states; charts speak a summary of the data they draw; dialogs keep focus where it belongs.
- Voice Control — the same labels make every action reachable by voice ("Tap Affirm", "Tap Mark paid").
- Dark Interface — full dark mode support throughout.
- Differentiate Without Color Alone — selections carry checkmarks, overdue items say "Overdue", income is marked with a plus, charts have text legends.
- Sufficient Contrast — every text/background pair in the palette is verified against WCAG AA ratios (4.5:1 or better) as part of development.
In progress
- Larger Text — text scales with your system setting today; we're verifying the largest accessibility sizes render without clipping before we claim full support.
- Reduced Motion — coming in the next update: animations will respect the system Reduce Motion setting.
Accessibility review happens with every release. If something doesn't work
with your assistive technology, that's a bug we want to fix.
